Tabata Focus is an Android application designed to help users run Tabata interval workouts, save local training profiles, track completed workouts, and display the active timer state through a home screen widget.

This Privacy Policy explains what information the app may process and how that information is used.
Information Collected#
Tabata Focus is designed to be simple and privacy-friendly.
The app stores the information you enter or generate in order to provide its functionality, such as:
- Your saved Tabata profiles and profile names.
- Timer settings, including prepare time, work time, rest time, cycles, tabatas, rest between tabatas, and profile color.
- Active timer state needed to show the current phase, remaining time, and widget status.
- Workout completion history used to show progress, streaks, total training time, and monthly history.
Personal Data#
Tabata Focus does not intentionally collect personally identifiable information such as your name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or health records.
Profile names are created by you and are stored only to provide the app functionality. Avoid entering personal or sensitive information in profile names if you do not want it stored on your device.
How Data Is Used#
The information stored by the app is used only to:
- Run the Tabata timer.
- Save and load workout profiles.
- Display the active session in the app, notification, and home screen widget.
- Show completed workout history and progress summaries.
- Play local audio cues for phase changes and countdowns.
Data Sharing#
Tabata Focus does not sell your data.
Tabata Focus does not share your app data with third parties for advertising purposes.
The app does not include advertising SDKs.
Data Storage#
App data is stored locally on your device using Android local storage, including a local database and local preferences.
Deleting the app from your device may delete its locally stored data, depending on your Android backup and device settings.
Internet Access#
The core functionality of Tabata Focus does not require sending your workout profiles, timer state, or workout history to external servers.
If a future version introduces optional online features, this Privacy Policy will be updated to explain what changes.
Payments, Donations, and Advertising#
The current version of Tabata Focus is free and does not include ads.
If a future version introduces optional donations or in-app purchases, any payment processing may be handled by the relevant platform or payment provider under its own terms and privacy policy. This app will not sell your workout data for advertising purposes.
Children’s Privacy#
Tabata Focus is not directed specifically at children under the age of 13. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Security#
Reasonable care is taken to keep the app simple and limit unnecessary data handling. However, no method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
Changes to This Privacy Policy#
